Coloratura Soprano Debi Hirschbiel most recently performed Maurice Durufle's Requiem at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center. In December of 2013, Ms. Hirschbiel was invited to sing in the choir of Andrew T. Miller's The Birth of Christ, performed at the St. Stephens Cathedral in Vienna, Austria. Ms. Hirschbiel, 2015 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Vocal Performance, studied under the direction of Dr. Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber. Ms. Hirschbiel also has a secondary focus in psychology and music therapy. Music plays a tremendous part in Ms. Hirschbiel's life. She believes music is a universal form of communication and plans to help underprivileged children communicate through her love of music. Ms. Hirschbiel is planning to pursue a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance and plans to attend American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in 2015.
